TED.COM: Lisa Gansky: The future of business is the "mesh"

After viewing this motivational video, I have been inspired to make a change in the world by using the Internet to globalize my future business A Given Vision Productions and Promotions. (TED.COM, 2010). The inspirational video clips lead me to another motivational speaker by the name of Lisa Gansky. In an Internet video, Gansky (2011) states that the future of business is all about sharing all kinds of stuff, either smart and tech enabled rental or, more boldly, peer-to-peer.  According to Gansky, “A brand is a voice and a product is a souvenir.” Lisa Gansky company website http://meshing.it/categories/23-entertainment is a resource for sharing entertainment industry multimedia files to global economy.

What is MESH? According to Gansky (2011) site, traditional businesses follow a simple formula: create product or service, sell it, and collect money. Gansky mentions how in the last few years a different business model has taken root, but allowing consumers to have more choices, more tools, more information, and more peer-to-peer power. Pioneer entrepreneur Lisa Gansky calls it MESH and reveals it will soon dominate the future of business. (Gansky, 2011). http://meshing.it/about

  1. Great Blog, this is very inspirational I realize that sharing in the industry allow for big business. In many cases others input on a project can be very valuable. Best business practices are to use the formula given for team success. Well done post, Gansky has a point that consumers have more choices that mean that customer satisfaction should be even more top priority. She has a great point and it is true that customers opinions will soon dominate business decisions.
